Terms and Conditions

• During the walk follow any instructions from your guide especially relating to Health & Safety. All walks adhere to the countryside code. On semi urban and city walks we use official pedestrian crossings where possible for road safety. Dress for the prevailing weather conditions with suitable footwear. No open toe sandals or flip flops.

• Participants in walking activities should be aware of a risk factor of personal injury, or death.

• For Health & Safety and wellbeing please let your guide know of any relevant health problems and/or if you will be carrying emergency medication on the walk. Any discussions will be handled with discretion and kept confidential. Please be the judge of your own fitness and health for participation, sign a medical disclaimer and risk acknowledgement.

• COVID-19; our public liability insurance has a written exclusion for any claim relating to COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2 or any mutation or variation thereof.

•  Please book your walk at least 3 days before the date and pay in advance. If you cancel before 48 hours of the walk we offer either a refund or an alternative walk. There are no refunds within 48 hours of the walk.

• If PH Guided Walks cancels a walk before the set date then a refund or an alternative walk will be offered.

• A route may be changed on the day due to weather/ground condition/ livestock issue.

• If a walk is abandoned while in progress through accident, emergency, behaviour issues, intoxication or bad weather, no refund will be given.

• PH Guided Walks will not be responsible whatsoever for any loss or damage to any personal possessions, equipment, clothing or mode of transport used by participants. Transport to and from the walk is your responsibility and at your own risk.

• PH Guided Walks will not be responsible for any participant expenses for transport, parking costs, refreshments or entrance fees.

• PH Guided Walks will be flexible for people requiring a bespoke walk at short notice once contact has been made, including payment options and costs.

• Payment: Cheque (payable to P Hutchinson) or cash. Electronic bank transfer is possible please contact for details.

• Walkers under 18 years require a written adult consent from a legal guardian.

• Data we collect for health information is kept on paper file for a maximum of 3 years after which it is destroyed.
